I was struggling with severe PTSD after my military deployment from Africa. I had constant anxiety attacks, nightmares and loss of appetite.

My appetite came back and I regained a deep sense of self and centering that has since empowered my life. I went in to see Mary initially for spinal nerve cramps that left me feeling limited, fearful and breathless. She was able to show me how the root cause of every symptom can be tracked back to the self-limiting beliefs we create in ourselves from past traumas. Though this process, I learned I had the ability to self-heal just by simply tending to the feelings and unmet needs that were underlying the physical pain that I was experiencing. Mary Huang L.Ac

Mary Huang is a Chinese Medicine practitioner/licensed acupuncturist and has been in practice for over 17 years. She holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and is a 2007 graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine. In 2008, she became co-owner of Kwan Yin Healing Arts Center in Portland, Oregon. She co-owned and ran Kwan Yin Healing Arts Center from 2008-2017 and helped expand into their second clinic Kwan Yin Healing Arts Center East in 2014. In that interim, aside to co-running the clinics and working clinically with patients, she also facilitated mentorship programs with co-owner and founder of Kwan Yin Healing Arts Center, David Berkshire L.Ac. In these mentorships, she taught Chinese Herbs, Classical and Five Element acupuncture, homeopathy, body work/energy realignment and supervised weekly internships. In 2017, she left the United States and spent four years living off the grid in the rainforest ocean jungle of Costa Rica. It was here, that she was able to take the time to do her own personal cultivation and healing work, enabling her to refine her intuitive knowledge and energy healing skills even more. She now currently resides in Honolulu, Hawaii and opened up Singing Tree Acupuncture in 2022.

Mary is a gifted healer. She works on both an intuitive and physical level. When I started seeing her I had a serious injury that was refusing to heal, as well as very limited energy from chronic health issues. Mary's attention to detail and ability to change what I needed as my illness progressed actually gave me an excellent quality of life for the first time in years and healed my injury giving me back my mobility.
